We celebrated our annual Grandparents’ Assembly in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tullysaran. A huge congregation gathered as our Primary 7 pupils led the beautiful assembly which celebrated the huge contribution that grandparents make to our lives. Many grandparents of our pupils attended our assembly and those grandparents who were unable to be there were included through their photographs being displayed on the altar.
Our Primary 7 pupils led our assembly through offering prayers for our grandparents, families, school community and praying to Carlo Acutis. All classes performed songs with some children playing their fiddles; Fr James blessed our St. Brigid’s crosses and all grandparents. It was definitely a very special gathering.
