As part of the school's partnership with the AMMA Creative Learning Centre - Local author Declan Carville visited our school to lead two workshops with our lucky primary 4 and primary 7 children.
Declan led a fascinating workshop looking at one of his books in depth, talking about his inspiration for writing, how he puts himself in every book, and encouraging the children to explore and write about their own experiences and interests. Giving us his top ten writing tips!
As you can see from the photos it was throughly fascinating and insightful. The children asked some wonderful questions about his writing process, his inspirations and his characters ! Who knows, we hope to have some future authors in our midst here in Tullysaran 🙌🙌🙌
