FAO Primary 7 Parents - Applying for a Post Primary School Place

Online applications for Post Primary School will open at 12 noon on Wednesday 1 February 2023 and will close at 4pm on Thursday 23 February 2023. 

Please view the attached information leaflet ‘Applying for a Year 8 Post Primary Place’.  This leaflet and further guidance will be accessible on the Education Authority website to assist you in making an online application.

Places are NOT allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Post Primary Schools WILL NOT consider applications until after the closing date.

It is important that you:

• Find schools in our area
• Read the Admissions Criteria
• Check what supporting documentation is required to be uploaded with your application
• List your preferences on your application
