Primary Four pupils thoroughly enjoyed the eggshell investigation using water and vinegar linked with our ‘Mighty Me’ topic. They observed the changes to the three eggshells in the different solutions -
A- water only B- water and vinegar C- vinegar only.
They looked for changes to the eggshells after 24 hours and then again at 48 hours. This helped them understand the impact that plaque acid has on our teeth.
They also completed Maths practical work on volume and capacity: estimating and measuring how many jugs or cups of water were needed to fill various sizes of containers. Well done P4!
