Our School were lucky to be included in a local litter campaign. Helen Donnelly came and spoke to the Student-Eco council about littering and the School-Eco Council led an important assembly about littering and launched a ‘Poster Competition’. The whole school were involved in designing posters to encourage people to throw their rubbish in the bin instead of in our community. The School-Eco Council picked the best posters in each class. We were allowed to choose 12 winners. These posters will be placed on bins around the community, at the school and in the GAA pitch. One poster will be made into a sticker and used at the Deli counter in Benburb Spar to encourage people to throw their rubbish in the bin.
A huge congratulations to all the winners! It was hard to choose from such a selection of talented young artists in school. We can’t wait to see them around the community!
