Well done to our boys and girls who participated in the Malachy Mc Geeney blitz. Our girls won their first two matches against St. Jarlath's, Blackwatertown and St. Malachy's, Armagh. Unfortunately they were beat by a single point in their final game against St. Teresa'a, Lurgan. This was a very close and tense game but unfortunately it wasn't to be. The girls played with great effort and enjoyment throughout the blitz and can be very proud of their performances.
Our boys performed brilliantly in all three matches. They defeated St. Jarlath's after a nervous start and then went on to beat St. Malachy's in a close encounter. They won their final match against St. Teresa's and have qualified for the County Armagh finals day which will be played on Thursday 9th May in the Athletic Grounds. A great day's football for everyone!!
