Yesterday saw the Tullysaran Ballers head to Lurgan to take part in the first of the Cuman Na Bunscol heats for the Malachy McGeeney competition. What a beautiful setting with the autumnal sun shining down on St Peter’s GAA grounds. The first game was a real challenge for the boys, winning narrowly after a physical encounter with St Francis of Keady. The girls also got it very tough but with some brilliant kick outs and fielding, they managed to get some scores on the board. They played with such a brilliant attitude and encouragement of one another. The boys went on to win 2/3 competitive fixtures before having their lunch, then we picked teams ourselves and made use of the brilliant facilities to play another very competitive game between the lads who travelled. Mr Forker joined in too and there were some booming points scored throughout the day! A great start to our Gaelic games competitions campaign for the year 🙌
