Measures in P4
Well done to the P4 class who carried out plenty of practical investigative work in Maths.
They explored length by estimating and measuring using quarter metre, half metre and metre strips. They then progressed on to measuring using metre sticks and 150cm tape measures for rounder objects. They loved the fun activities in the gym hall trying to see who could throw the beanbag the furthest distance, see how far they could hop in five jumps and also see who could throw the ball into the bucket which was 2 metres away. great fun was had by all.
They have worked really well with Miss Lavery in learning to tell the time using am and pm in analogue and digital, and in five minute intervals past and to the hour. Keep up the great work P4.
