Primary Three and Primary Four pupils thoroughly enjoyed the eggshell investigation using water and vinegar linked with our ‘Mighty Me’ topic. They observed the changes to three eggshells in different solutions -
A- water only B- water and vinegar C- vinegar only.
They looked for changes to the eggshells after 24 hours and then again at 48 hours. We used eggshells instead of real teeth. This helped us understand the impact and damage that plaque acid has on our teeth.
