Primary Four pupils thoroughly enjoyed the eggshell investigation using water and vinegar linked with our ‘Mighty Me’ topic. They observed the changes to the three eggshells in the different solutions -
A- water only B- water and vinegar C- vinegar only.
They looked for changes to the eggshells after 24 hours and then again at 48 hours. This helped them understand the impact that plaque acid has on our teeth.
To finish off the topic we had a visit from Dentist Eamon who was very impressed with their knowledge about ‘Our Teeth’ and they made their own toothpaste. Well done P4! 😁
