Primary 3 Ice Eggs 🧊🥚
31st Jan 2023
Today we worked in pairs to investigate the properties of ice. We looked closely at ice eggs using magnifying glasses. We counted to see how long we could hold the ice egg and discussed how the solid ice was melting into a liquid because of the heat of our hands. We used salt and food colouring to investigate our ice eggs. We noticed how the ice egg melted quickly when ice was added! Then we placed our ice eggs in various areas of the classroom to see where it would melt the quickest. It melted the quickest beside the radiator and the slowest beside the window.
