School Profile
Our Lady’s Primary School, Tullysaran, was founded following the amalgamation of Tullysaran and Tullymore Primary Schools in 1997. We are a welcoming school community with high aspirations for all our children. We have seven well-resourced classrooms all with interactive white boards, indoor resource areas, a large multi-purpose hall and extensive outdoor grounds with children's play park. The school delivers a broad and balanced educational experience in line with the requirements of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.
We are a Catholic school and as such we have a distinct ethos, but we welcome children from all faiths and none. We place a great emphasis on pastoral care. We strive to ensure all our pupils feel safe, secure and happy so that they can achieve their full potential.
We offer a Breakfast Club from 8am in the morning, a 123 Club for P1-3 children from 2-3pm and 3-5 Club for all pupils from 3-5pm. We have a wide variety of extra curricular activities on offer, including: ICT Club, Art, Science Club, Lego Spike, Tag Rugby, Fiddle, Tin Whistle, Gymnastics, Soccer, Gaelic Football, Camogie and Hurling. We also offer extra lessons for pupils in Primary 6 and 7 preparing for external examinations.
It is the policy of the school to make parents feel welcome, so please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any queries or concerns. Thank you.
